Ozone is safer than asprin. It does not cause damage to the body at all. It is one of THE safest and most intelligent modalities on the planet. Ozone therapy is extremely safe when applied correctly. The gas flows out of a tube and directly into the apparatus being used depending on the application being administered. When done in a clinical or properly guided setting there are certain parameters you take to ensure not inhaling the gas directly which is not "DANGEROUS" simply irritating to the lungs. You would have to breathe in a high amount of pure, direct ozone before it would potentially cause any irritation to your respiratory area. It is VERY rare that you will feel any discomfort during or after any session. If you do have any sensations after the session it is simply a Temporary discomfort that will be subtle. In a simple explanation, ozone is electrified oxygen that occurs in nature. With a machine we simply run oxygen from a concentrator into a machine that flashes UV light which electrifies and puts out the same gas nature makes. Corona discharge creates ozone by applying high-voltage to a metallic grid sandwiched between two dielectrics.
